Team Athena is a Portland, Oregon based women’s running club. Our mission is to promote women’s running throughout Oregon by providing an educational, supportive, and positive running environment for women of all ages and abilities.

NW PDX Trail Runners is an intermediate level (but beginner friendly!) running group that meets every Saturday at Lower Macleay in Forest Park, and usually mid-week somewhere else in the park. Originally started in February of 2013 by Danielle Spillman, the group itself has grown steadily since the beginning, although the Saturday morning runs always seem to average about 15-20 runners.
The group is usually about half regulars, half newbies, so don’t worry! You’ll almost certainly find someone to run with, as we all run at different paces.
We’re all about trail running, camping, coffee, breakfast burritos, socializing over beers, exploring Portland and the surrounding areas, talking about gear, *not* talking about gear, etc. If any of those things sound like fun to you, then come run with us!

Nike+ Portland Coach: Steve Edwards and Julia Webb
A former collegiate runner at UNC and a 2:36 marathoner, Steve Edwards is excited to bring his passion for the sport to the Nike+ Run Club Portland. Having coached many elite runners to new records, he now looks to give back to the running community by coaching runners to be their best.
Julia has been running over 15 years; 10 full seasons on the track, specializing in the steeplechase. Highlights include a top 10 US Finish in 2013 and a NCAA III title in 2004. Having exposure to many coaches and groups, her passion to compete and share love of sport continues as she brings energy and expertise to NRC.
Portland Fit is a a training program for runners and walkers of all abilities, each with a goal of completing events including the Portland Marathon, Helvetia Half Marathon, Hood to Coast, Rock’n’Roll Portland Half Marathon, and many more. Our coaches are devoted to getting you in the best shape of your life in a non-intimidating, fun and safe environment. Upon joining, you will receive day-by-day training schedules, weekly group runs/walks, access to trained coaches, information seminars, free massages, and a Portland Fit Marathon Training shirt.
When Moms RUN This Town was founded, it was one Mama looking for other Mamas who needed to find themselves, find time for themselves, find time for each other. But pretty quickly, it became clear this wasn’t a Mama need. It was just a NEED. For ALL women. The She RUNS This Town logo was designed to represent that need, to represent ALL of us. Mother. Daughter. Wife. Sister. Friend. Woman. All of us. So we aren’t changing our name, but we now have two names. And if you weren’t sure before, please know, this group is not just for Moms. Because we ALL run this town.

SunstoneRC consists of (more than half) members from Intel Corporation as well as non-Intel members. The majority of us lives in Beaverton and Hillsboro areas and a few in downtown Portland. Our members run at different paces ranging from 7 min/mile to 10 min/mile.

The Portland Marathon Clinic offers programs leading to the successful completion of the Portland Marathon or other fall marathon. Established in 1984 the Clinic has helped thousands of runners to sucessfully complete their first marathon. 100’s of others have achieved their personal bests. It provides proven, safe and supported programs. It is the sanctioned official training program for the Portland Marathon.
Half Marathon training will lead to finishing either the Portland Half marathon or other summer/fall half marathon.
We are an energizing, empowering, supportive Portland running group network, a great fit for new runners and those running between 3 and 5 hour marathons.
Saturday group long runs run from November 1 – March 31 to prepare runners for spring marathons. Each long run generally offers five or six pace groups, so you’ll be matched with runners of similar ability. Long runs are usually two loops from the same but alternating locations.

Foot Traffic University is Portland’s original & most-trusted training program focusing on the 10K or Half Marathon distances (and now the marathon distance as well!). GREAT for those new to the sport or those that are interested in continuing their training. Our program usually boasts around 200-300 members, which means there are MORE pace groups and more people at YOUR LEVEL!
FTU provides a coach for runners and a separate dedicated coach for walkers as well. We also provide pace mentors for a WIDE VARIETY of paces all the way up to 20 plus-minutes per mile! We also have separate pace groups for those looking to slowly transition from walking to jogging.

Our intent is to introduce young athletes to the exciting world of track and field and to provide experienced athletes an opportunity to extend their training into the Junior Olympics.
