Amy started Athena Rehab and Fitness in 2010, working primarily with professional runners in the Portland Metro area. She had the opportunity go to London to watch many of them compete at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games and currently works with many track hopefuls for 2016 (GO USA!) She has now expanded her practice to include athletes of all levels as well as those wanting to initiate a healthier lifestyle. Amy graduated from Portland State in 2003 after double majoring in Fitness and Health as well as Public Healthcare Administration. She recieved her Physical Therapists’ Assistant degree in 1997 and graduated with Honors. This brings a very specialized eye to her training sessions. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach through NCSA.
Most Importantly, Amy has an enthusiasm for life that is contagious. She loves her work and it shines through all of her clients outcomes.
