The 4th Annual Red, White, and Blues 10K and newly added Half Marathon run/walk is one festive event! This race is held on the Saturday before 4th of July with a fun patriotic finish party.
Beautiful, peaceful, fast – these three words describe the Red, White & Blues race course perfectly. The 2017 course is mostly a downhill journey along tree-lined county roads and scenic views of the Tualatin River. Come celebrate the 4th of July with a patriotic finish party outside Lil’ Cooperstown that will include live blues music, an all-American menu, beer and wine (21+), and a vendor village.
Smooth packet pickup and plenty of porta-potties at start. Nice course, good course support, and you get to run over bridges twice. Not super hilly or challenging. Thought I’d gotten a shiny new PR, but the course had to be shortened at the last minute, and they didn’t tell us until it was over. Hope they work out the kinks with the course, because it was great to get to finish up to the sound of blues. OK shirt, nice medal. Worth sticking with until they get the kinks figured out.
